❛ and i can feel my
every breath unfold. ❜

Ninety-seven years after the destruction of a nuclear war that wiped out almost the entire human race, survivors are faced with yet another life or death situation that would surely be written in history.

With limited oxygen supply running out faster than expected, the Ark - a sanctuary in space built to keep humanity alive until the radiation-soaked planet could be habitable again - makes the brutal decision to send one-hundred criminals down to the ground in hopes of saving everyone.

Iris Warren was a mere two weeks away from her impending death when she was hauled out of her prison cell and into a drop-ship that would toss her, along with ninety-nine other convicts all under the age of eighteen, down to the dangerous planet.

She, along with everyone else, is put to the test. Between gruesome violence and being at war with grounders, the hundred must face their battles head on if they want to survive.

And with war evident all around her, Iris is forced to become the warrior she is destined to be; all the while battling her own heart over a man she is strangely attracted to.

"It's like a hurricane; therefore you can't stop it, you endure it." In a post - apocalyptic world, thousands of those apart of the human race continue to reside in a space station called The Ark. A place where several different countries came together to create a place where they can all live in peace until Earth is a safe place to live in once again. With oxygen supply running short, possibly gone within the next four months, there was only one thing left to do; send 100 convicts under the age of eighteen down to the dangerous terrain that is planet Earth. Almost everyone aboard The Ark knew about the tale of Octavia Blake, the girl who lived under the floorboards for around sixteen years, but her story pales in comparrison to Olivia Ross', the girl who was ripped away from her family the moment she was born. All because she was a twin. It was against the law to have more than one child on The Ark due to supplies available, but after a misdiagnosis, Liv's mother had twins rather than just the expected son. This immediately resulting in her jail sentence. Except when Liv finds herself two weeks away from reaching the dreaded age of eighteen, she's soon casted down to Earth along with ninety nine others just like herself. Liv knew that this journey would be dangerous, but she never expected to see the one person she had desired to meet most; her twin brother. [season one] [book one of the olivia ross series]

Delyn Kane felt sheltered her whole life. She breathed borrowed air, drank recycled water. All she's ever known was the Ark, the place that held the last of mankind for 97 years. At least, that's what she thought. The world that they thought was on fire and burned with radiation held human life. But Delyn didn't think she could see that world. With the Ark running out of oxygen, the Chancellor and the Council were taking every precaution to save what they thought was the rest of the human race, and that meant sending 100 juvenile delinquents to Earth.
