"Is today any better," the teacher asked. This story is about a high schooler, named Jade and her little sister, Payton, who's in second grade. Their mother has just recently passed away and the father is abusive to the high schooler, by whipping, burning, etc to her. Jade always was quiet, but now that a recent passing has happened, the sisters will go on a journey and whatever it takes to get as far away from their crazy father. Who will die? What will happen to Jade and Payton? Will they succeed or fail by trying?

She scowls. He smiles. She glowers. He laughs. She's cold. He's open. She hides with hate. He hides with jokes. Polar opposites. That doesn't stop them from loving each other. Jade Skai hated that quote with all her heart. Partly, because it was true. Pain was the best teacher. Fear coming in halfway. What was worse? When pain decided to side with fear and work together. She had felt both. Multiple times. And the feeling sucked. Jade was not your normal happy sunshiny girl. No. She was cold, having a snappy tongue and a heartless nature. That was her father's fault. Her mother had died when Jade was born. And it tore her father apart. He now sat at home. Drinking alcohol anytime she saw him. To add to the trauma, her father also beat her. Almost every night. For years since she turned ten. She was a very troubled girl. It wasn't her fault.

I don't own any of the characters, nor most of the pictures, btw the pictures will most likely have nothing to do with the chapter i just like them. this story is not true, if a name appears of somebody dead or alive that is by coincidence. Also I apologize of how horribly written this is. 15 year old girl Jackie has been bullied since the 4th grade by Jason and his group of friends, in middle school the bullying got more and more physical, at one point she ended up in the hospital. Afterwards, causing her to become suicidal and depressed along with many other mental illnesses. But as she enters the 9th grade, her and Jason flip the scenery.
