***Author's Note***
I felt compelled to write a story for Josh and Maya because I wanted to know what happened; how they got together, the struggles they would go through and I also wondered if they would end up together forever.
For those of us that write, we often have a plan for the story but the characters, at times, seem to have a different idea. So while I know what my general plan is for the story there may be things happen that I didn't even plan.
I hope you enjoy Josh and Maya's journey as much as I am. Also if there are things you might want added to the story or ideas please share. I cannot guarantee they will be put in the story.
I enjoy reading reviews as well just an fyi.

Maya loved the Matthews family; they were whole hearted kind people that did the best for everyone. They practically raised her. Maya and Josh- The Long Game
Hey guys, So this is my Josh and Maya story. This is the first time I'm doing something like this and hopefully I'm never gonna be as obsessed about a ship again in my life :D. This story takes place throughout the time from the end of the show. Maya and her friends are in their Sophomore year in High School while Josh is a Freshman at NYU. By the end of the story, Maya will be starting her senior year of Highschool and Josh will be a junior at College or so. I tried to combine the Disney sentiment of the show with more adolescent content. So there will be a bit more intense stuff here and there. But the first few chapters will be more light and modest so bare with me please and give it a chance ;). Also, English is not my first language so if there is some weird wording/grammar/syntax and misspelling, I apologize in advance;). Hope you will all enjoy! Update on Januray 2023: I just finished my major construction on the story. I didnt change the plot nor the sweet scenes between Josh and Maya but I did change the stuff after the plot because I made it too dramatic in the first place.
