I looked down the side of the building. Should I do this? I thought stepping a little farther towards safety. What have I got to lose? No one loves me, I should just stop being a waste of air. I stepped to the very edge of the building. Come on. I couldn't bring myself to just step off. My heart raced, my hair was drenched with sweat. Just do it. I stepped off, sending myself hurtling towards the pavement.

"Why is everyone staring at me?" She asked innocently, looking up at the towering large man in front of her, a man three times her size. "Because you're sitting in the Demon King's Throne." He said, his deep commanding voice sending shivers down her spine. "The one who would kill anyone he wants." He said, teasing her. Panicked, she jumped up to apologize, but he yanked her back, pulling her onto his lap. A jolt of electricity surged through her at the contact, something as she never felt before. "Let me go..." She stammered, her ears burning red as she struggled. "The King will kill you for this." He said to her. A low rumbling laugh vibrated through her, making her weak. His iron grip tightened around her waist. "Little one," He said, his voice dark and amused. "I am the Demon King and as my fated mate, you'll never have to apologize to me."

I ran into the house and found the rifle and ran back outside and asked if it was still there and sure enough it was so I pointed the rifle at it but then the power cut off for a few seconds but it was enough time to hear Jackson to scream in our ears and then the power came back on only to show that the person or thing had left and Jack just yelled out cussing.

“Run Maeve! Run!!” I could hear Phoenix’s voice yell to me in pain as I dashed through the woods while branches smacked me. I had to run faster, I had to escape, whatever that creature was it wanted me. I felt my feet slow down and my breathing sped up and I felt a burning sensation in my chest. I couldn’t stop; I couldn’t slow down….RUN! I forced my feet to move faster as I heard wings flapping just a few feet behind me. I didn’t dare look back though; looking back might be my death at this point. ‘Stop running’… I heard a voice in my head say I tried to ignore it, it wasn’t me who was saying it, it was something else. ‘You have no chance….STOP!’ It screamed inside my head and I could already see myself slowing down and obeying to it. I knew I was going to cave in. My feat slowed down into a small jog until I finally stopped and started to catch my breath knowing I had done the wrong thing but I couldn’t fight it, whatever it was I felt it controlling me like nothing before. ‘Good girl’ I heard it say and almost on cue I felt big strong arms curl around my waist and I felt myself being lifted up into the air with extreme force and I let out a small scream. “Maeve, no!” I heard Phoenix’s voice yell to me from a great distance as I was being lifted into the air by something. As much as I hated it I had to look, I had to see what’s going on. I looked over not at the man’s face but what really caught my eye was the giant wings on either side of me which was causing me to fly. “Phoenix!” I yelled automatically. I heard the man with his arms around me chuckle as we descended farther into the sky, away from my only hope, my mate, Phoenix.

Everything from this point and on will take place after the ROTTMNT movie, if you haven't already, please go watch the movie to understand the context behind some of these situations. (Plus the movie is really good so please go watch it). Some of my personal headcanons will be thrown in here as well :) Summary: The brothers are now at home resting and healing from the big Kraang battle, Raph is blind in one of his eyes, Mikey is getting physical therapy to learn how to use his hands again, and Leo's shell is being healed. Donnie being the only one who wasn't incredibly injured decided to take all responsibility of stopping villians, even after promising to his little brother that he wouldn't leave the lair. Dear Diary, Me and April are finally starting to hangout again! You see what happened was: I was hanging out on the rooftop of my apartment building when these men came and tried to kidnap me. I fought as hard as I could but I accidentally fell off the rooftop. However this green dude with a purple bandana saved me! He gently brought me to the ground and checked to see if I had any injuries. While he was checking, I saw April on the rooftop with some other green dudes and she was fighting off those weird men! Eventually they disappeared and the whole group came down to me and the purple guy. She apologized to me for not keeping in contact for the entire year. She said she's been training to be a fighter with the help of her friends, which are apparently mutant turtles. They all introduced each other, red is raph, blue is leo, orange is Mikey, and purple is 𝒟ℴ𝓃𝓃𝒶𝓉ℯ𝓁𝓁ℴ I don't know what it is about that guy but.... I think I might have a crush on him, or at the very least it's limerance. I mean the guy saved me so it's probably just infatuation because of that. Anyway, April said that tomorrow she's gonna take me to the turtles lair so we'll see how that goes! Maybe I can even become friends with them! Especially 𝒟ℴ𝓃𝓃𝒶𝓉ℯ𝓁𝓁ℴ..... TW: This is gonna be a pretty angsty story and it will have sad themes such as parental loss, grief, unrequited love (which gets requited...eventually), and obsession (but not too much) I'll post warnings at the beginnings of chapters for some of these themes but I hope you enjoy! Edit: I'm marking the story as mature for the time being just because of the themes I have written above. There will be no smut in this story or super graphic violence
