Panicked, she jumped up to apologize, but he yanked her back, pulling her onto his lap. A jolt of electricity surged through her at the contact, something as she never felt before. "Let me go..." She stammered, her ears burning red as she struggled. "The King will kill you for this." He said to her. A low rumbling laugh vibrated through her, making her weak. His iron grip tightened around her waist. "Little one," He said, his voice dark and amused. "I am the Demon King and as my fated mate, you'll never have to apologize to me."
