Mickey Blue has fallen into a magical world where singing to animals basically turns them into little slaves, witches are cannibals, knights in shining armor and capes save damsels, and faeries are the most deadliest thing. 

The problem for Mickey is that he wants to go home, oh and everyone thinks that he's this long lost prince who mysteriously vanished a year ago. Now Mickey has to navigate himself in this strange new world by becoming his royal doppelganger Prince Kellan just to try to find a safe passage home. And that's if he can avoid the evil assassination attempts coming from the evil Wizard King Galvyn and make peace with the neighboring faeries, especially with the faerie that hates him the most; the sexy, seductive, and beastly Daemon Prince of the Fair Folk.

Adding salt to injury I was bought by a royal vampire, the prince. I cursed the day I was born. Maybe not all vampires were the same, but for humans that was just wishful thinking. Tristan agrees to help him get home, the least he could do because it was mostly his fault (and totally not because he has a crush on Gregor, or because of Gregor's compulsion magic or because he kissed him.) But then everything goes wrong when they get attacked by fire elementals who work for the demon Earl Alfred of Aleman who is also after Gregor's magic. The elemental manages to steal the shadow and now Gregor and Tristan must travel through different dimensions to get the shadow back and slip the Earl and his henchmen in the process.
