This story follows Shelbie Briggs, a twenty-three-year-old who has dedicated her life to being a detective, from her early days in Grimsborough and Pacific Bay to her current role in the Bureau. Her career is everything she could wish for, but her life takes a dark turn when nightmares from her past begin to torment her. Despite her attempts to ignore them, the nightmares grow more intense and violent, causing her immense pain.
