Have you ever experienced that moment when your vision becomes blurred, colours blend together and the line between truth and lies grows hazy?

My name is Kaylin and I'm a raider living the lie of a gunner, in the middle of a war between the two factions. The lies I have created are building up, tension is brewing and my vision is becoming blurred......

Then finally there's that moment of clarity, where the haze is gone and relief washes over. Realisation occurs.

.......And my clarity hit me when my lies boiled over the edge and I realised that I had fallen in love with a certain blue eyed mercenary.

I clutched the gun to my chest. The blood on my hands, outfit and hair knotted with it. The body stared up at her, mocking her. I finished the job. But why did I feel so empty. The assignment was to kill the target, not everyone that I did. But they always said whatever it takes to get the job done. I killed people for a living. I was good at what I did... I enjoyed what I did. Memories were filling my mind too quickly to stop them so I just let them run their course. *** His weight disappeared from me and his hand grabbed the front of my leather jacket and yanked me to my feet. One of his hands were wrapped around me throat while the other was flicking a switch blade back and forth. I stared at it, flicking in and out addicted to the trance. I looked up as his voice interrupted me. "What am I going to with you Liza?" "I don't know brother. Why don't you tell me?" "Hmm," his fingers brushed my face. He was vulnerable; I stepped on his feet and watched as he yelped in pain. I reached for the gun on the mantle behind me. I cocked the gun, the safety clicked off. "Liza?" His voice was weak and frightened. "Please." He was always a good actor. His eyes were betraying his words. They were dark with vengeance and fury. His body lunged towards me. I pulled the trigger, hearing a noise echo in my ears. I dropped the gun on the ground. My feet slowly dragged my body over to Liam's body. His fair blonde hair was turning a darkish yellow red from the blood spilling from his lifeless body. Previously named: 'I'm Back, And Now I Have A Gun'

[COMPLETED] "Shoot," Joey mumbles, letting out a string of profanities under his breath. We turn around to find a group of men, all with guns, standing where we just came from, and they look pissed... probably because they were forced to run through this tunnel after us. "Thought you could get away, didn't you?" The man who I saw before asks. His husky voice booms in the hollow tunnel, reverberating off of the dirt walls. His voice sounds familiar, and a realization strikes me. It sounds like the man from my dream. I remember him holding a gun and wearing a blue suit, smiling evilly at me. "Leave us alone," Joey says, sounding dangerous and snapping me out of my thoughts. The levity of the situation hits-we need to get out of here. I look around for a route of escape and thankfully I see a light, literally, at the end of the second tunnel. I let out a small, almost inaudible, gasp and nudge Joey. He looks at me and I subtly gesture with my head to the second tunnel. He glances at it and immediately we are on the same page. His jaw sets and he looks at the group. The man speaks up again, chuckling darkly-a sound I will never forget and will be permanently etched into my brain, "You can thank your father for starting this mess." -------------------------- Liza was a normal teenaged girl, living the average life that an eighteen year old girl should be living. She had good friends, good grades, a happy family, a loving boyfriend, and an overall content life, seemingly having everything a person could ask for. However, when she somehow gets thrown into the mix and is in the crossfires of a brutal mafia war that she has no business being a part of, things spiral out of control and she has to do whatever it takes to regain her freedom. In this hectic adventure of gun fights, torture, bank robbing and intimidating mafia men, Liza has to face it all, putting her average life on the line in order to defeat the bad guys and go back to her normal way of living.

I feel the color draining from my face as he walks towards me. I stand still, gulping as the fear runs around in my body. I don't know what to expect and I hate it. I shut out all my emotions, not letting the fear show in my eyes. "What do you want from me?" I tilt my head, looking deeply into his green eyes. My voice is cold, hard, demanding him to answer. He brushes it off, giving me a taunting smile resolving in chills down my spine. "Yes. That is the interesting part, isn't it? you see" He bows down, so we're at the same eye level. His green eyes are staring into my brown, reading me like I was an open book. I see the humor in his malicious eyes. He is enjoying this. "That is for me to know, and you to find out." He smirks ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Strong-minded, cold-hearted, and stubborn as hell, both of them fighting their internal flames, not ready to give in.
