Everyone's heard of Pocahontas, right? or at least the disney version? English explorer John Smith explores the great unknown and encounters an exotic, young and beautiful native; Pocahontas. This leads on to a journey of discovery, love, war and blah, blah, blah.

Well, this is not a parallel story, not at all. This is my and my friends' story. Yes, there are similarities and such... but as always, there is so much more.

I've heard of his kind before in my tribe as they told stories by the fire of the white man. Father always told me to never engage with a white man to protect myself, seeing as I was the tribe's so-called 'princess', even if I was a boy. This was the first time I've seen a white man before. I was fascinated with the white man. No, attracted was a better word. I needed to... meet him in person.
