The Streidnast Archipelago has been threatened with a new type of species to be reckoned with, thus causing the people to fall into a state of disarray. In response to this, a new military force dating back from the year 2296 has been reawakened to counter this threat. Amidst all this tension, Jacob Millard has been living a abnormally normal life collecting posters and figures of Vocaloids, members of the Mekakushi-Dan, and other popular anime. One could say that he is an Otaku, others describe him as lazy. Little did he know that his life is about to change once he's been recruited into the HMF...
