In Dripping with Red, I cover the story of the Lebecky family, who are haunted by a creature of sorts, more of a shapeshifter, who first appears as a white bird, his feathers dripping with the red of blood. It follows them over generations, watching their every move, waiting to attack. In each chapter, it is a different generation of Lebecky's, with the shapeshifter in plain sight, but they never see it as the one who haunted them for centuries.
