"Will this be all Ms..." She squinted at my sweatshirt. I knew what was coming, my last name. I've been through this a million times. As did everyone with Juilliard sweatshirts with their last names on it. "Bowie?"

My eyes widened. That's not my last name. I looked down at the sweatshirt that I had thought was mine for the last hour. "Um... Yes thank you. You can call me Ilse. I'll probably be back a lot more." I smiled. But my last name isn't Bowie, I must have grabbed the wrong sweatshirt.

I scoffed, "Oh yeah, like I'm going to believe a werewolf!" He looked surprised, "You're human." "No shit, what clued you in?" He ignored my sarcasm, "How do you know about werewolves?" I struggled to pull my arms free, "None ya." He looked confused, "None ya?" I gave him an incredulous look, "None ya business. Shit, do I need to spell everything out for you? Now let me go!" He looked to where he was holding me before jumping to his feet with ease. I scrambled to my feet with much less grace before watching him closely. I did my best to keep my eyes on his face and not his naked body. Werewolves were monsters but I couldn't deny how fit they are. All the men were like Adonis and the women looked like goddesses. I took a deep breath to steady my heart as I spoke. "Look, I don't know what game Tony is playing but you can tell that fucker I got out fair and square. He can't have me back and that fucker can suck my dick if he doesn't like it." His eyes flicked to my crotch before setting back on my face and I let out another scoff. "It's just a figure of speech, I don't have a dick." He shrugged, "I know." I frowned, "They stop eyeing my junk like I'm an undercover tranny." He cracked a smile, and I narrowed my eyes, "Great, now that you've had a laugh, I'll be going." His eyes flashed gold as he let out a growl and took a step toward me. "You can't leave." I widened my eyes, "Down boy. I can do whatever the fuck I want. Tony can kiss my ass." His eyes flashed dangerously at the comment. "I don't know Tony or care about him. He has nothing to do with the reason you can't leave." I laughed, "Oh, yeah? Why don't you enlighten me than dog breath?" He narrowed his eyes at me, "You can't leave because you're my mate.

I was walking to my locker when I heard someone calling for somebody. "Hey! Little cutie!" They called. I kept waking, since no one noticed me and I doubted that it would've started then. It was a hallway full of cute girls, all of them much cuter than me, so why would they be calling for me? They whistled. "Shortie with the ponytail!" They called, their voice now closer to me. I still kept walking to my locker since there were still several other girls, who were taller than me but still relatively short, wearing ponytails. I felt a light tap on my shoulder once I got to my locker. I turned around and my breath caught in my throat at who was talking to me. Maximus King. The hottest guy in all of Hillside High. With his jet black hair that was always messy but still looked amazing, his steel grey eyes that all the girls talked about, his sharp jawline that could cut someone, his tall, six-foot five inches form that towered over me, and his strong form that could easily take out pretty much all of the guys in school, he was what every girl looked for. He had a bit of a bad reputation, well, a lot of a bad reputation, but most girls didn't care about that. I cared, and was very afraid of him and all of his friends except for Xander. In fact, if he had a reputation of sleeping around, I think I would've avoided him like the plague. Good thing he only flirted with girls and never slept, kissed, or touched them. "Hey, shortie, I was talking to you," he said with his deep voice. I cleared my throat after a few seconds of me gaping at him. "S-sorry. I-I didn't k-know," I squeaked. He chuckled. "I even said 'shortie with the ponytail!' yet you still didn't know." I gulped. "That's cute," he said. Amethyst Stone, a short, four-foot eleven inches girl that Maximus King has taken an interest to. When? You'll find out. Why? He could tell you, but don't get your hopes up. Will it work out? Read if you really want to know. 12/21/18- 8/8/19- 12/27/20

I walked on the nearly empty bus in New York City, which was very rare. It was the middle of the night and this was the last train going around the tracks. It was only me in the car for a few stops. I was hiding my face with a hoodie. I had my headphones in when he walked in. I looked up and our eyes met. He looked familiar and I quickly looked away. He's probably a fan and followed me. I probably met him at a meet and greet, at least that's what I thought. I felt a presence next to me and looked up to see the green/blue eyes that were so familiar. I took one of my earbuds out. "Hi?" I asked. "Hey. If you don't mind me asking, but where are you from?" He asked. "Let me know your name first." I said still cautious. I paused my music and wrapped the earbuds around my phone and put it in my pocket. "Denzel Weller." He said holding out his hand. "Rose Pitcher." I told him taking his hand. He looked so familiar. His name tried to break through a wall in my memories. I looked around us to see that there was one person left on the train besides us. I took my hood off revealing my turquoise hair. I just got it done and that's what I'm going to my hotel from. "So, where are you from?" He asked me. "We say where we're from at the same time." I told him. He nodded. "1.....2.......3!" I said. "LA." We said at the same time. I looked at him surprised. I took a closer look at him. He looked like he was around the same age as me, 21-22. I studied his features. He had smaller than average ears, an average sized nose, a strong jaw line, short medium brown hair, and then his eyes. I stared into his eyes and saw that they held familiarity.

Caught up in the sins and glamour of high society life, Astoria became the girl no one could trust. In order to return to grace, she must do the unthinkable: find a husband before the end of the year... before her mother chooses for her. With only 3 months remaining in the year, she decided to return to the limelight and reengages of high society life. But with everything she needed to build a future, only one question rings in her mind as she faces her fate: was it worth the price? __ The lighting was dull, but I could still see the shadows of his strong jawline, and the broad, muscular build he hid under his suit jacket. I wished I could see more of him-I wished I could see his face. I was intrigued by him, by the man who couldn't seem to look away. I blinked a few times before turning my cheek, suddenly conscious of the way his hidden eyes bore into me; I could almost feel the intensity of his gaze burning holes into my skull. Maybe he knew who I was; maybe he was one of the people I had crossed, they all looked the same to me. I had too many skeletons in my closet to be able to keep track of who was an ally and who was an enemy. If he was the latter, God help me. It was just the two of us outside now on the once compact Parisian streets. We were completely alone. He could do or say whatever he wanted and no one would bare witness. And yet, neither of us moved, too afraid to disrupt the perfect serenity of the moment. I opened my mouth to speak, but I could not bring myself to utter a word. For the first time, I was scared to know what someone was thinking about me. I wanted to know the type of woman he saw staring back at him. I hoped he saw the woman I was pretending to be: the regal, glamorous, refined young lady I'd been bred to become. But somehow I knew he saw me differently. The man who could not look away could see everything, and I just hoped, for the both of us, that he saw how sorry I was.
