This is a very short story looking at the basic aspect of any relationship, communication, and looking at it through the lens of separation, distance and reluctance. We have all been there; having the desire to communicate, to say something we want to share, connect with someone new, a friend or loved one, and yet restraining ourselves for a multitude of reasons. We have been that person on the other line waiting. We have been that person leaving, caught up in our insecurities, just when something is about to connect. This is a reflection on that moment.
