I've been waiting for my knight in shining armor to show up for 6 years,             
to come into my life and  turn my world upside down.
I'm 19 now, and am still waiting for him to come.......but he just doesn't.
So I take a chance.
I stop waiting for a person who doesn't exist.
I decide it's now or never.
I'll never believe in anyone, won't depend on anyone but Myself.
Cause in the end the only soul that will be happy for my success
or grieve when I fall, will be ME.
I'm all alone in this world, I can save myself,
THAT's What I thought ...........Until My Knight finally decided to show up.

A broken girl... Twenty years old and I'd finally had enough. I couldn't take anymore, so I packed up my things and disappeared, leaving behind my drunken, abusive father and the mother that stood by and watched as I slowly died. I knew I was going, but not where I'd stop. The last thing I expected once on my own, was to be spending my nights stripping at a club in Florida, barely getting by. I should have known running from a past wouldn't make it stop haunting me, because misery will always find me and tear me down until there's nothing left of me. It always has... Things can always change though, right? Like looking up at a handsome, tattooed stranger, and with one stare he has me questioning everything I've ever believed in. I wasn't expecting or prepared for someone to storm into my life. Not him. Jace Montgomery. The name I'll never forget. The need to save me lies in his eyes, but I don't need a savior. Trust- what he wants to teach me. That I'm something more than what I've grown up believing and that I'm worth loving. Those are the things he wants me to believe. How am I supposed to let him in and show me I'm something when I've spent my entire life being... nothing? He won't give up, and honestly, I'm hoping he never does... Because maybe... just maybe... I am worth saving after all.

An abusive father, a depressed girl who can't find hope, and an angel disguise as a boy who can help her through hard times. Some people can't find hope from their home life, no matter how hard they try. But this one girl finds her strength to push on when she meets one boy a couple years older than her. But when he disappears after he graduates, her father gets worse and she gets so skinny that the "nothing but skin and bones" saying becomes her life for these two long years. She becomes so over came with depression that he'll never come back for her, that he's only played her heart. Will anything be ok for her? Or will things end up failing?

"I can't do this anymore; I just can't!" A line said in almost every individual's life. We all at one stage in our life dealt with such pain; where dying is easier then living. But, it's all a rollarcoaster that we have to fight through. I was once a shy, scared and sad little girl and now I'm a confident, compassionate and cheerful young lady. But, I wasn't always like this; at many stages I was extremely depressed. I know this seems like the stereotypical teenager's story but it was something much much more. Give my story a read and lets ride the rollarcoaster together. You never truly know what can impact you the most. It could be a book or even another person. Never close yourself off to be alone because you're shutting yourself from the beautiful world we live in together. Expect the unexpected and always reach for the stars. I hope you guys ride along and we can over come any scenario together as one.

There are a lot of things you don't really think about until they happen to you. Take rape, for instance. I always thought, "That won't happen to me. I have a boyfriend. I trust him. He would never take advantage of me like that..." I couldn't have been more wrong. Love in this day and age is often confused for manipulation and abuse. The warning signs are here. The things we say will tell us everything that is wrong. You are worth more than what you think you are. It's not your fault. If they tell you otherwise, get out. Burn the bridge. Always remember someone is waiting for you to walk into their life. Someone needs you. Someone loves you. Getting away from all of the wrong people and finding the right ones could save you. I can promise you right now that it saved me. These are the journal entries and selected poems from my first experience of love that left a unpleasant taste in my mouth- quite literally. I am putting this out for the whole world to see because I hope everyone will learn from my experience. People can see. We have no excuses to continue living our lives in ignorance. ...WARNING... And how to let go of love. ----------------------------- I met Hayden on one of our school activity. We dated and love each other so much. But he left for Australia to continue his college.
