The depression

the depression is about 13 year old Riley Matthews. she has always been a very happy girl until her parents got divorced. Her mom left her dad because he was very abusive. Riley was then forced to move in with her grandparents who always want perfect and who are constantly screaming. she moved in with them and went to her new middle school. she was known as the "outcast". she started going to school there and made a friend,Maya. Maya was known as the "heartbreaker". Maya has dated almost every guy in the school. she had a crush on like every guy and she always talks about herself but Riley thought "she's been my friend since I came here so I have to stick with her" In this story Riley has started her 7th grade year. She's in theater class and she wants to become an actor. she then has a crush on this boy who Maya likes (go figure am i right) Her whole life has been turned upside down. Riley doesn't know what to do or feel. she starts liking this boy that Maya likes and he's in her theater class and they have a few glances here and there but she doesn't know what to do.
