11 poems celebrating my favorite artist/singer/musician, The Reverb Junkie also known as Michelle Chamuel's debut solo album called "All I Want" for each poem I just put each song on repeat until each poem was done, from the All I Want song to the XWarmm instrumental. This is in no way a solicitation or any personal way I feel about the artist other than my admiration and love for her music and wanting to do something to celebrate its 3 year Anniversary. Just showing how It inspires me and creates all these little stories in my head. He stops and looks at my face. "I want you badly..." He says looking at me and then my lips. At this moment, my heart wants what it wants, and that would be Kace. "Then have me," I allow him. "I am all yours." *** Seventeen-year-old Adrian White is a foster girl who lives in an abusive household along with her abusive foster dad and mom. The worst is the foster dad. He goes into Adrains room at night when everyone is asleep and does things to her and she can't stop him. She gets beaten every day before and after school. The only people that know are her two best friends, Vivien Loren and Quinni Rose. They know she can't run away until she is 18 and if she tries they will hurt her even more. Adrian tends to keep to herself and deal with what is happening with her life now. Eighteen-year-old Kace Lexington is the gang leader of the Swace gang. Kace is a feared man and who doesn't tolerate disrespect. His best friend, Blake Williams, is his right-hand man and is always there when needed. Kace doesn't listen well in school but still surprisingly gets his work done. His mother was killed by their rival gang when Kace was seven years old. What does it mean to be broken? (I wrote this poem myself) ______________________________ Why be sad? When no one knows how bad You feel your Pain makes you sore. Why be mad? When no one can tell How hard you fell How it hurts MORE than a tad. Why be happy? Be like all those sappy People pretending to be What they want you to see. Why be frightened? Senses heightened Screaming, As sick people are beaming. Why be tired? When no one knows How your wired How you grow. Why be honest? When all known is a broken promise When no one believes you Even if what you say is true. Why hurt? When no one feels your pain When no one's ever alert When you never feel sane. Why pretend? When you know in the end No one will be there Because no one cares. Why care? When no one cares enough for you To know what your going through They think your heart is unfair. Why try? When no one sees that you do They just pry Thinking they know more than you. Why speak? When no one will ever hear They'll say you're a freak They don't see a single tear. Why do anything at all? I had this idea last night after a few drinks, a pounding headache, and an excessive amount of throat lozenges. In order to inspire me to write more often than I currently do, I am planning to write a new post every day and publish it, allowing me to rant about whatever is on my mind. Anything goes with this story. Maybe I will talk about something deep and metaphysical about the meaning of human existence, or rant about why my life sucks and how I prefer iced tea over hot tea. Anything goes. This is just an inspiration to allow me to write SOMETHING every single day of the year. Hopefully I can keep up.... If I end up deleting this story, I guess you'll know that I failed.
