No matter how far you run, reality is always one step ahead.

Jack has been dreaming all his life of the magic fabled to exist in the Eastern Mountains. When his family dies, what other choice does he have besides to cut all earthly ties and take flight? Tales Of Wonder are short stories that are tied in to a novel I've had in my head for years. They are related to the novel and each other. These stories are mainly to motivate me and to test out different writing styles. Each short story will be written in different styles. They take place in a world where magic and science combine. The first story here, I admit leaves the rules of the world and how everything works a little vague but each short story will add more and eventually the novel will tie up the magic system.
