NO RELATIONSHIPS UNTIL LIFE IS STABLE!
Is her main quote.

Well. That won't happen. Because once she meets Eli Hudson, at Imperial College, her life flips .
"He's just a friend." I say.
Sure, he is a friend. But it will change to more.
That blank persona he gives off leaves me no choice but try to unravel his past. What caused him to feel gloomy all the time?
Our friendship sailed far, until something I never expected to happen.
He left me nothing but a suicide note. For me.
Did Eli actually take his own life? Or did he just run away from it?

Her brows furrowed. "You look like you have something specific you wanna ask me." The tips of Liam's ears turned red at Emma's very accurate observation. "I, uh... I usually just bullshit my way through projects, so I have no idea what the hell I'm doing." The corners of Emma's lips formed a small smile. Liam arched his brow. "What are you smiling at?" Her smile widened. "Nothing." Ever since Emma started going to Silver Creek High, she's been bullied over her discolored eyes. It all started when a boy brought attention to her in biology class one day, laughing at her and calling her a "freak" while the rest of the class laughed along with him. She never looked at him or saw his face; she just ran out of the room crying. She was now an outcast labeled as a freak and she wanted nothing more than to just disappear. She felt she had no purpose in life. Until her sophomore year when she fell in love with Liam, the guy every girl wanted; the guy every dude wanted to be. He had stolen her heart and she now wanted nothing more than to be with him. Unfortunately, Liam seemed to want nothing to do with Emma. He seemed to be straight up avoiding her. They never interacted for 3 whole years. That is, until now in their senior year, when they get paired up for a school project. The two must put their differences aside and try to work as a team. But as they spend more time together, feelings grow deeper, and secrets start to rise to the surface. Warning: Contains mature language, sex, and topics of bullying, sexual assault/harassment, self-harm, and suicide

She'd die for love. He didn't believe in love. *** From reading The Love Hypothesis by Ali Hazelwood, to watching 10 Things I Hate About You, to listening to You are in Love by Taylor Swift, Emily Kingsley's life is a sum of moments she has spent after romance. Watching, reading, listening or daydreaming, romance has never failed to comfort this high school junior of 17 years of age. She has her own issues: self-sabotage, lack of focus in studying, randomly popping up acne and not loving the way she looked. But she could forget all that as long as she is reading about two people falling in love and finding their happily ever after. Emily wants a romance for herself too, and she knows just the person for it. Landon McArther, a senior in her school. According to Emily, Landon is handsome, sophisticated, well-spoken and unlike any of the immature boys of her class who didn't get her at all. Landon was everything Emily has always dreamed about and moreover he appreciates her for the person she is. But there's just a teeny-tiny problem. Landon McArther has a girlfriend. While that wasn't in Emily's bingo card, she hopes, prays, and longs for the day Landon will be single (because he is Emily's soulmate, and he has to be) and awaits her chance for romance. At the same time, her seatmate in chemistry, the rumored delinquent, grumpy asshole Nathan Callahan, makes fun of her romantic dreams. Can Emily ever find true love? Completed. A fun romcom that will make you scream and squeal and blush! I'm running, my dress bunched up in my fists. But I'm not running for my life I'm running for his, and when I see him I stop. There is one bulky man on either side of him, they have their arms linking his, he's kneeling in front of someone with raven black hair. As we get closer, I see his pain in the way he's holding himself, his brown hair is clouding his face. Something catches in my throat as I see him bent forward, almost looking limp. The panic is slowly eating me up on the inside. 'Please lift your head, let me see your eyes' I pray inside my head. He can't be gone. It's almost like he hears my prayers as he looks up, his blue eyes as deep as the ocean depths, knocks the breath out of me as per usual. I close my eyes and thank God for keeping him alive. The right side of his jaw is all purple and red. A cut on the other side of his face, which is oozing with the red liquid. He suddenly looks past the black haired male to look at us, reassurance washing over his features. It's when he sees me that his eyes widen, and the panic grows by the second. He goes from a slump to picking himself upright. He's hurt. Badly. The black haired man spins around as we walk closer in their direction. All 6 of us stop as I catch a glimpse of the face. A deadly grin appears on his wicked face. "Boys, I've been waiting for you" He shouts loud and clear. "And you brought the girl" * Crescent Bay Dawson was once popular but now she lives in the shadow of her twin brother. The only person who notices her is the cocky, egotistic, Star Quarterback of the school; Elliott Grayson. Can Elliott charm her into falling for him or will she finally win the heart of her childhood crush? #2 in humor - 2nd February 2018 #5 in teen fiction - 6th November 2017 Honestly if you wanna laugh this book will make you laugh cause that's what I'm all about!

A girl who doesn't let anyone in. A guy who lives every day for himself. An inexplicable attraction. Hi all! Some of the topics touched on in this story include LGBTQ, loss of loved ones/death, sexual assault, thoughts of self harm/suicide. Some of these are touched on a lot while other are more implied. If any of these topics make you uncomfortable or are triggers for you this may not be the story for you. My intent is not to offend anyone or bring them down by the things written. I simply do my best to stay true to the characters I create. For those of you who are still interested, this story will be a roller coaster of emotions for you. I say that as a fellow reader who loves getting invested in characters and their stories. This is a story about relationships, friends, humor, love, loss, secrets, heartbreak, family, temptation, limits. I hope you enjoy reading and getting to know the characters as much as I have enjoyed writing them. I welcome thoughts, questions. Let me know what you think. Happy reading :)
