Now that high school is almost over, and college doesn't look too prospective, she wonders whether she's meant to spend her life at the home forever.

But that is before she meets Professor Morgan Eldridge, of Eldridge College of the Magical Arts, who knew her mother, and believes that Tori is no ordinary girl. At the College, Tori hears whispers about a man everyone calls Montefiore, who viciously strips people of their Elemental core and steals their Magical power.
