After climbing down Mt. Ebott, papyrus's first stop is the local cemetery. He plans to dig up the bodies and infuse them with magic in order to find a Font that can wake his fallen brother or release Horror from their imprisonment. He is shocked however to find that all the bodies are missing!
    
    To make matters even worse, his stupid friends went and got themselves in trouble with a bunch of Fonts and now he and Flowey have to go rescue them before they get themselves killed. Can Team Cute Truth save everyone from the Fonts?
    
    Or is the real danger yet to be awakened?
    
    If you haven't read Fonttale, this won't make sense. So go read that one first, alright? Also this story is a Horror/Comedy and contains REALISTIC pictures not cartoony shit, so not only is the humor and story dark, but the pictures are made to make it look more like a movie than an actual book...like this cover art for example. Long ago, two races ruled over the Earth. Humans and monsters. At least, that's the story we all know. There was another race. Technically, they were monsters. Skeleton monsters to be exact. Humans shunned them because they were monsters. Monsters shunned them because humans had skeletons. In retaliation, the skeletons split into two different races. The Surface Skeletons and the Abyss Skeletons. The Surface Skeletons reaches out to both monsters and humans. However, when the war started, they were some of the first monsters attacked and many were killed when they fought with the other monsters. Only a handful were sealed underground but without the Sun to strengthen their bones, the skeletons suffered until they received anonymous help. Very few survived to this point and slowly, they died out. The Royal Scientist at the time and his wife tried to have children. Each time left them severely weakened. Each child dusted until the wife gave up her life to bring a great skeleton into the world. That child is the last of his kind. The Abyss Skeletons shunned all other monsters and humans, considered them all demons. Their society was alike human society long ago. Divided. They believe they are strong and emotions only weaken. The class system was rigid and they possessed a kill or be killed attitude to all other monsters and humans. They thrived underground and ended up building their society in the Underground's own Abyss. It is a shame that only their leader can reclaim their heir from the corruption caused by those demons. Fonttale is an AU where skeletons have a special power related to their font name. A Normal Font Comic Sans for example, can force people to laugh. However, Papyrus is a Horror Font and they're much different from Normal Fonts. This is where and why the story begins. Papyrus is a sadistic murder whose main goal is to protect his one HP brother Sans. By day he pretends to be an obnoxious idiotic skeleton obsessed with puzzles and spaghetti, but at night he teams up with Flowey and patrols the area for humans in order to collect souls to break the barrier. When he isn't doing that he visits the MTT Resort where his brother does his comedic acts and kills monsters he finds in the alley in order to keep Sans safe. Unfortunately as time passes and more and more monsters disappear, the "Resort Killer" becomes everyone's favorite topic...including Undyne's. When Papyrus decides one day to take a chance, something goes wrong and Sans discovers more than he ever wanted to about Papyrus, the Underground, and even himself. The line between right and wrong becomes a blur, and his relationship with his brother is tested as he tries to help him overcome his apparent madness. But is it really Papyrus that needs help?
