Troubled teenagers that have suffered heartbreaks, and not essentially regarding romance, along with a past that haunts them may prevent them from living life to the fullest. Mel knows this and so does Luke, her brother who is also the lead singer from the world known band 5 Seconds Of Summer.

When Calum decides to visit Luke, and possibly stay with him for a while during their break off tour, Rosie is not pleased considering her hatred for her brother's best friend. Unfortunately, Rosie as Calum's younger sister must obey and follow his rules. After all, they are parentless, so Calum is in charge of what follows and what does not.
