You are a Dark Elf trying to escape from your past and find yourself waking up in the back of a cart, hands bound with three other people. You find out that your being taken on your way to an executioners block for something you have no idea about. Suddenly, a dragon appears out of no where, allowing you to escape, but now everyone is talking about a legend of dragons and how they are returning. Why are they coming back? Who is this Dovahkiin? Will you be able to save Skyrim from a new terror flashing its dark wings?

Ven was nine years old when a raid destroys everything she knows and loves. She knows only one word to identify the people who did this, but that is quite enough- Imperials. However, she meets the Stormcloaks, who fight for freedom from Imperial rule, and escapes her death thanks to a dragon attack, while learning she is not alone in despising the Empire. Ven is now going down a path of revenge and will stop at nothing to see it through. However, will it destroy her in the end? Or will she find peace instead? The Song of Deirdre Part I
Deirdre Morningsong returns to Skyrim seeking vengeance on the Nords who murdered her parents, only to be captured by Imperial soldiers who mistake her for a Stormcloak rebel. After escaping both the Imperial dungeons and the destructive return of the dragon Alduin, she resolves to discover what strange power is within her, and what the dragons have to do with it. Follows the main quest lines of the game, weaving them into a story of adventure and romance, with numerous twists on the canon. I'm hoping it's equally enjoyable for those who've played the game and those who haven't. Trigger warnings: rape is mentioned, one is attempted and prevented, but none are completed. Some other sexual assault. The first chapters are PG-13, but later ones become R-rated. (Feedback on appropriate ratings appreciated.) But this time, he's been recruited to accompany her in her attempt to uncover her past and find out why her first memory is of her waking up outside Skyrim's borders in the middle of a Stormcloak/Imperial skirmish. Dragons roamed the world long before men, and at their height, nobody could have foreseen their downfall. Now Beinn Na Nathrach is the last nest, and the riders of Dùn Ceò - the ancient fortress carved into the mountainside - are the crumbling remnants of a once noble and powerful sept of armies the world over. As an orphan brought up within the walls of a dragon keep, following orders and watching the riders train is as close as I'll ever get to joining their ranks. Life for me is laid out as a servant, with my place secure as the ward of one of the commanders. I can see it ahead of me; the years of mucking out stables, fetching food, mending clothes and equipment, when all my heart aches for is to know how it feels to see wings stretched out either side of me. Yet the monotony of life is shaken when a hatchling is found in the forest, and rumours of rebellion in the most Northern villages begin to spring up. But why would a few unruly farmers require an entire contingent of well-armed soldiers who seem overly interested in the goings on in Dùn Ceò? Book of the Dragonborn - Story of a Legendary Khajiit
Throughout Tamriel, many heroes have come and gone, many of them boasting great legends to go along with their heroic deeds. The legendary Ysgramor conquered all of Skyrim, the Hero of Kvatch ended the Oblivion Crisis, the Vestige bested a Daedric Prince in combat, Cyrus the Restless brought peace to Stros M'Kai, Tiber Septim conquered all of the known world. None of them, however, can quite match the legends and myths that surround the Last Dragonborn, the slayer of the World-Eater. Though Alduin has been gone for many centuries, the Dragonborn's stories continue to fascinate and inspire scholars and hopeful heroes alike. ------- So, I've used the Dragonborn in question for a few stories, but never anything set purely in the Elder Scrolls universe itself, and as such, I'm gonna try something a little different from my usual stuff. This will read much like any biographical text, or at least, that's my goal, detailing the life of the Dragonborn, being written by an unknown author. Book cover comes directly from the in-game book of the in-game title. The books makes frequent mentions of lore-friendly mods on the Xbox One version of Skyrim. I know I've written something like this before, but I had some new ideas for it and I wasn't entirely sure how I wanted to squeeze them in without screwing up his timeline, so I felt a rewrite was in order.
