Being mute sucks. Especially for Clarabelle Long. She was born mute. It wouldn't be as bad if she was an only child. But the fates just had to put her into a family with 5 older, very protective siblings. She doesn't feel as bad about being mute with her siblings, since they also have problems of their own. Clarabelle has been doing very well with taking care of herself. She only has 2 brothers that go to her school that she runs to when she gets bullied by the popular kids. But when a new boy comes into Clarabelle's middle school, causing all the girls to go crazy, she finds herself leaning away from him, running for her siblings for help, and getting bullied even worse than before.
