(the Heathens fic) [TRIGGER WARNING: MENTIONS OF ASSULT, GASLIGHTING, SUlClDE] Tyler and Josh have been best friends for as long as they can remember. In the eyes of others, however, there's only been Tyler. Tyler had bided his time creating a sketch of how he depicts the voice in his head, Josh, as a physical appearance. Upon having the sketch completed, Josh's form crossed into reality. When Tyler kills his doctor in self defense, Josh is determined to become his guardian angel against all the odds of doubtful spectators and goes on a mission to rescue him from the infamous prison for the mentally insane, Haven Asylum.

Josh's ultimate goal is to gain his friendship back with Tyler, even if that means jeopardizing everything, including their music career. But Tyler should know better than anyone; you can't hide from love. Especially when it grabs you by the heart, twisting and tugging until you have no energy left to stop it. He was in love with Joshua Dun, and eventually, he stopped denying it. There was nothing left for him to do but fall deeper and deeper, past the point of being rescued, for his best friend. •Please correct my mistakes!• This is the first fanfic I ever wrote, so it may not be as good as my newer ones! Tyler is always in trouble, and his guardian angel is always there to save him. • So this this is the first fanfic I have ever written, so I hope it's okay. This story was inspired by the song "Heathens" by twenty øne piløts. • Reviews: "This story was really exciting to read and was definitely something I've never read before.
