(the Heathens fic) [TRIGGER WARNING: MENTIONS OF ASSULT, GASLIGHTING, SUlClDE] Tyler and Josh have been best friends for as long as they can remember. In the eyes of others, however, there's only been Tyler. Tyler had bided his time creating a sketch of how he depicts the voice in his head, Josh, as a physical appearance. Upon having the sketch completed, Josh's form crossed into reality. When Tyler kills his doctor in self defense, Josh is determined to become his guardian angel against all the odds of doubtful spectators and goes on a mission to rescue him from the infamous prison for the mentally insane, Haven Asylum.

Tyler is used to that, though, and he's used to pretending they're not there when other people are around. It wasn't so bad, at first, but now that one of them is bent on getting rid of the other, he's having his doubts.
