She is an outcast. She finds it easier to express what she feels in the form of writing. Whether it is poems, letters or long texts. These are poems that she writes trying to describe how it feels to live with certain mental health issues, in a world that disregards outcasts. So, these are on the darker side of the spectrum. Some poems might be distressing for some readers. I personally enjoy consuming dark content, it's kinda like a coping mechanism. I really hope none of you relate with any of these :) I'll be posting only poems here, I'll try to be as active as I can. The poems are not in any order. I see you've somehow stumbled upon, My amateur book of magic. Turn the page, if you wish, That would make me simply ecstatic :) Nothing but a girl who has a small talent with pen and paper. Decided to follow in the footsteps of my good friends @Crimsyy, @wordsnvisions and @Bondy11, and attempt to contain all the magic flowing in my soul into a book of poetry. Those three are amazing, but this is my work. My pale, flickering candle stub in a tiny puddle compared to their poetry, which is as radiant as the sun and as deep as the ocean. But still... Don't let that deter you! Read on, fellow wattpadian! Join me on this magical journey through the soul behind one girl's words... (Fair warning, this was written by my 12-14 year old self, who was very sweet but also incredibly cringey. She's still a part of me though, and I'm leaving this book up as a time capsule dedicated to her. So if I haven't already scared you away, prepare yourself for some pre-teen angst, authors notes galore and more than a few bad puns. I wrote this because I needed to survive it. Because there are some feelings too big for silence. Some heartbreaks too heavy to carry alone. This isn't fiction. This is my heart, broken open and rearranged into verse. "I saw you standing where the sidewalk curves, and suddenly my chest knew different words." - That's how it started. A glance. A stranger. A feeling I couldn't ignore. "You said we needed to talk. Those five words, I knew. I already knew." - And that's how it ended. Not with fire. With silence. I won't tell you that time heals all wounds. I won't say everything happens for a reason. I won't pretend heartbreak makes you stronger. But I will show you that: You can survive what you think will destroy you. You can break and still become beautiful. You can love someone and lose them and still be whole. You can be your own happy ending. I wrote these poems with tears on my face. I wrote them on good days when I forgot to hurt. Every word is something I actually felt. Every line is a moment I actually lived. "You are not broken. You are breaking open. And that's where the light gets in." - That's what this taught me. That's what I hope it gives you, the comfort of knowing you're not alone.
