Werewolves and Vampires is the story of, you guessed it, werewolves and vampires. Lila Silver had been a pretty normal girl until her sixteenth birthday and her dad decided to move her and her step-sister, leaving her old friends, old school and old life as a human behind. In between dealing with the secrets and dynamics of being a werewolf, the totally not cliche grudge between the vamps and werewolves, being the potential next murder victim of a mysterious and possibly non-human killer, and a hottie with fangs that she sometimes kind of wanted to make out with and other times wanted to rip his throat out, Lila was definitely going to have a totally normal, average life in this new town.

About a week later when they are out for dinner in respect of their sister that died at birth. When they arrive home they find their house in flames being fought by firemen.
