The only sentence I heard escape her mouth before I was tackled to the ground. She pushed my face down into the grass and kneeled on my hand, making me release the grip on the colt I had stolen from my dads safe.
I recognized her voice but it was a very distant memory, this is my story explaining how she saved me from myself... the events leading up to the day that made me want to shoot up my own school.
