The Future Awaits is about a young couple living in Bondi, Trent a lifeguard at Bondi Beach, and Kendra a Bondi Police Officer. Kendra is a Melbourne girl while Trent had lived there his entire life. They live together with their small dog, Bronte. They have their up and downs but are so much in love it doesn't matter.
