Appalachia

Appalachia is a collection of stories from the areas where people live in the shadow of the Appalachian Mountains. Although one of the most beautiful and most visited places in the United States, there are many dark tales from those who have gotten lost, experienced something phenomenal or witnessed a crime while some have disappeared or passed away from exposure and starvation when hiking the famous Appalachian Trail, becoming disoriented or simply going mad. Some are even attacked and devoured by one of the numerous black bears....or another man..
