Dan Howell and Phil Lester have been friends for ten years. But after awhile you begin to grate, and they both inevitably mess up. These mistakes lead to their deepest fears coming true. Dan and Phil, the YouTube power duo, comes to an end. Sixteen years later and they haven't said a word to each other. Phil moved to New York, married and had a daughter, Eliza. Eliza follows in his footsteps and makes several friends over the internet, one of them a boy named Jack. They become the best of friends and to Eliza's delight, Jack's family moves to New York in the same apartment building she lives in. When the Lesters meet Jack, however, they discover something Jack forgot to mention. Jack's father is Dan Howell. ••• TRIGGER WARNING I'm kind of writing this as I go along, but I think there may be some physical abuse mentioned, hopefully nothing graffic. However, I will put warnings at the beginning of each chapter, and in the next chapter I will summarize what you missed plot-wise. SUMMARY CHAPTER OF HOW I WANTED IT TO END IS AT THE END
