Book Two of the Forged Series.

Aviana Birchwood's fight continues. As a half-blood Elf, she is hated for her blood, but she is determined to bring the murderer of her family to justice. Even if that means she has to raise an army and fight the injustices of the Empire at the same time to do it.

                                                                                                     ----------‐---------------- ----------------------------

Aviana Birchwood has faced the creature who massacred her family and has emerged as a symbol of hope to the people of Cadelith. But the Legion's fight has just begun. The Insurgent's grip on the Empire is growing stronger and evils emerge from every corner of Cadelith. Closer to home, Aviana finds herself tangled in a net of betrayal and deceit that threatens to shatter her fragile peace and in doing so, would destroy the Empire's only hope of survival

This is part one of two books (book two is ongoing on my account). I use music in chapters like in film scenes. The story is mature and the smut does get graphic as the story progresses. I'm a history buff and I love writing comedy skits, so there is a lot of comedy and carefully researched historical events peppered into the book. --- A story of love, betrayal, bloodlust, and the supernatural. Set in our current time with flashes to 1920s, 50s and 60s ❤️ He, a cursed twin brother. She, a dying human. After 40 days of transitioning, vampires become immune to the curse of the sun and can walk in daylight. Alistair, was a vampire able to enjoy the California sun whenever he pleased. Cursed by a scorned lover, Alistair can never walk in daylight again unless he can prove worthy of true love, like the love the sun radiates. A playboy, cocky womanizer in search for "The One". Someone must love him for the monster he is. Someone he can not compel. Stella suffers from a rare blood disorder. Her treatments stopped working and she is slowly dying. Her blood is poisonous to vampires. He can't have her. Stella is The One. She is his last hope. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I wanted to write a story inspired by AM and TLSP. Based on the gimmicks of various looks Alex Turner sported (AM Dracula, late SIAS, Teddy boy, EYCTE, and bearded TBHC). This main character, Alistair, is inspired by Turner's Dracula gimmick. It is purely inspired. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I think we can all agree that there are many monsters in our world. Monsters who abuse you, abuse children, monsters who kill by turning your inside into lava, and burn you alive. Monsters who kill by drinking your blood and breaking your bones. But after all, the worst of them are the monsters who lie. They seduce you, trap you, destroy you only with their words. They are stronger than the monsters with magic or unhuman power. When Chloe Jones meets with Mark Windsor at the bar where she works, everything changes in her life. While he lifts her best friend into the clouds, Chloe needs to face some hard business. He brings into her life pain, war, challenge, joy, love... him. All Chloe can do is hope that lying monsters aren't that bad, as her mother said.
