Everyone is given a necklace for their second birthday. Every necklace have an unique pendent and every pendant has an other half. The half that one doesn't get is given to their soulmate. The pendants heat up and cool down as they get closer and farther from the one with their other half. When the two halves are joined, they form a beautiful design.
((This is a base story, I am planing to further this story (soonish) but this is just to start off these two characters.))
