This is my first attempt at a mystery novel. I have been somewhat successful with science fiction and fantasy. The working title is Burr Oak. I wanted to hint at the upper Midwest dialect. An example - geeza or uff da. I find too much dialect in any writing distracting, but it's important in establishing the place of the novel. If you saw the movie "Fargo," you heard a good deal of it. I would like you to be my beta readers. Is this on track to be a good piece of mystery writing?All Rights Reserved

Her Best friend Sha'ona the rachet of them all, and two gang affliated home boys, Jamerion and Jay'quan. All cross paths.. This book was literally a scenario that popped into my head one time and I decided to write it out, main reason its a short book. This book is intentionally wrote the way they would say things so please don't say my grammar's off, just writing the way the pronounce things. This is a black love story located in the southside of Chicago, and I dont get why everyone thinks people in southside Chicago are northerners. Ok yes they're in the north but them people got south souls okkk!! Also I've never actually been to Chicago myself. So my dear Chicago readers, do not attack me.
