Imagine, after generations of constant pollution and a nuclear holocaust, that life on Earth was slowly dying out. Life will soon cease to exist due to toxins in the air, destroying the human body from the inside out. Imagine a dystopian world where the earth is sick due to human destruction and overdevelopment. Imagine the last of us just barely breathing on.
Struggling to care for his young daughter at just 17, Grey is apart of the generation that has evolved to thrive in toxic environments only for so long. With his young husband on his death bed, Grey struggles just to feed his daughter let alone himself. As he carries out his day to day work, the love his life remains terminally ill bed bound in the hospital. This is a short story of a dying world and a young man pushing on.

No one really knew how X's came to be. One day there weren't any, the next day half the population was wiped out. All Karma knew was that they are technological monsters, fit to be the world's biggest weapon, after the splitting particle ray which could reduce any person into air particles in a millisecond. Karma realised how simple it would be to destroy an army even with one X. They were practically indestructible, perfect killing machines, only they'd turned on the government, apparently. Or maybe those bastards had escaped perfectly unharmed, watching how the country was being destroyed. Maybe it was an excuse for overpopulation. xx-xx Karma has been trying to survive for over a year, but it's difficult when X's, mechanical killing machines, roam the streets, hungry for human flesh. Every day that passes by without finding a portal brings the morale lower. They need to escape the country before they all end up dead. It doesn't help that the X's have changed their tactics and are now manipulating people to commit suicide. The death rate keeps increasing, and Karma has to find out what family means, and to what extremes she would go to save the ones she loves.Complete

His family is broken, his mental health is slowly declining, and he's faced questioning his sexuality. Often left to sit in his bed on his phone most of the day, his reasons to live were slowly declining. Tom thought it was better this way. It was better to not disturb anyone, to wear the same clothes over and over, and to stay boring. All, of course, until Tom met him. Updates every Friday. So he carries on, still he craves and late at night, his desires take over him and he imagines what his life would feel like if he dropped all the pretenses.
