Please if you want to understand her or him or any of us, you have to approach this story with an open mind. You can't lay the blame on any of them. It wasn't their faults. I...I was the one who got out of hand. It was my mistakes that led to the Fall of Ortus and the rise of the Venatores and the war that brought us to this...mess. Just trust me. Maybe I wasn't the one doing the killing or making the plans, but I promise no one is more of a monster than me. I could have stopped everything from happening. I should have stopped it, but I was so young.

I'm sorry. I should stop crying and get on with it. Every minute we sit here another five, maybe even ten people die. They're killing people, you know that. Not even just the wizards and witches, but anyone who even disagrees with their idea of eradication. I know that they're the reason that so much pain has happened, but so what? No one's any better. Well, let's begin shall we? And I'll try to fill in the blanks for you and explain what things are, since you aren't really from here. My mind may work a bit wildly, but please be patient. Your patience is something I need in order for me to explain.
