It didn't help matters that she worked as an assistant to the cook at Monsieur Bourgeois's mansion. His daughters weren't very fond of her...
Being the prince, he had to find somebody to marry, and yet, all the girls in the entire kingdom seemed the same. Rich and famous as he was, he didn't enjoy living in the large castle with his father, who was hardly ever around.
