You're Still the One I'm After (all these years)
Halfway through typing out her response to the text message she'd just received, the purple haired woman fully runs into someone, sending both of them stumbling back, recoiling from the collision. Rarity looks up with a scowl of sorts, fully ready to tell someone off when- "I'm so sorry, Ma'am-" That voice. If Rarity hadn't seen the individual's face, there was a big chance she'd never have recognized the voice. The majority of the accent was gone, but Rarity could still make out the voice of- "Applejack?" aka the one where applejack has to deal with the repercussions of leaving her hometown seven years ago. Her Voice (Rarijack)
"𝑺𝒊𝒍𝒆𝒏𝒄𝒆 𝒊𝒔 𝒋𝒖𝒔𝒕 𝒂𝒏𝒐𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒓 𝒘𝒐𝒓𝒅 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒑𝒂𝒊𝒏." * * * * * * * * * ⚠️ THIS STORY IS UNDER HEAVY CONSTRUCTION; REVISING. AS IT CONTAINS A LOT OF INCORRECT GRAMMAR AND SPELLING! Read at your own risk if you wish! ⚠️ Rarity transfers to Canterlot HS, and meets Applejack, the odd mute girl who doesn't speak. She doesn't express or open up. She uses her voice to only speak to her best friends. For everyone else, she uses her notebook to communicate. Rarity wanted to know more about Applejack and her life, and why Applejack doesn't use her voice to speak. She wants to be her friend, and be the person who Applejack can trust or express her feelings to. She doesn't want her to keep all of it inside. Rarity doesn't know why but it feels like the right thing to do. Will Rarity make her open up? Will she change her? Can she help Applejack to be happy? Will Rarity be able to tear down Applejack's shell? ...Or will she fail? This story is a humanized version with magic in it. College AU | Rainbow Dash isn't perfect, no matter how much people praise her for her athletic skills, or her captivating smile that made almost every girl blush, or her natural flirtatious behavior. During her junior year in college, she meets the most attractive, modest and selfless girl; Applejack, who'd put her friends and family's needs over her own. After a little while, Rainbow and Applejack grew strong feelings for each other that meant more than friendship, but it becomes a problem for Rainbow because she dwells on her past and overthinks her fake image and one of Applejack's closest friends gaslights her.
