"Whoa, this... this tastes absolutely amazing! What is this- it- it looks like some sort of black bean noodle-!" "Jajangmyeon." "Excuse me?" "It's called Jajangmyeon, sweetheart." Emily Ross was raised in Washington her whole life, receiving top tier grades and never having to be disciplined. A few weeks after her junior year of high school starts once more, an offer is made to her. A South Korean schooling program wants to host a student exchange program with her school, and Emily is the one who will be sent over to the country while one of their students takes her place for the rest of the year. Naturally Emily accepts, but begins to fall into a spiral of confusion, humiliation, cute boys, and of course, oddly named food.
