Kailani: She was left on a doorstep as a newborn baby. All she wanted to do was find her birth parents, but it seemed impossible. There was no trace of them whatsoever, so she learned to move on. Now, she just has to learn how to get past her crush on the boy she lives with.

Lincoln: His mother passed away while giving birth, so his dad is all he has. Well, and his two best friends, as well as his population at the high school. But what's on the outside is the only thing everyone except the three most important people in his life cares about.

Heath: Attention from his parents is all he wants. They are there for him from time to time, but not enough. At least he has attention from his classmates, all of them loving the soccer captain and the parties he throws since his parents are gone quite a lot.

Simon: He's looking for the three people he knows he's connected to. He has been travelling all over the state, trying to find them, all while keeping his secret safe from everyone. He never knows who could be watching.

All of them had their own problems to face. Soon enough, they will all have to face a huge problem together.

And it might mean life or death.
