"One day our dreams will come true, we will both be the people we have always wanted to be - happy and of course, blessed. Then, I will have my heart's one desire which is, coming back every day to see my bae on the couch with those hot legs crossed.
I will kiss you and then we would talk about our day and what to do about our children's performances in school.
Till then, sleep well my love."

Jumoke has always been in love with one guy, Kunle. Their love so strong they have spent the past few months of their lives building a life together while waiting for that big break, so that they can finally legalise their union and start a family together.
When one gloomy evening her mother brings up the topic of getting married to Emeka, a stranger she has gotten accustomed to his unusual visits to her mother, she's torn between two things - her love for Kunle or a better life for her family.
"A woman's mind is flexible, you will grow to love him."
And so she picks Emeka, finally freeing her family from the shackles of poverty.
Seven miserable years, two kids and another baby on its way later, she stumbles on Kunle, the guy she dumped for Emeka, now richer than ever.
Stunned into silence, she expects that he wants nothing to do with her but instead, he offers her an olive branch - a hand of friendship.
They start to hang out again and slowly the sparks which she thought long dead rouses within her, giving her life a new meaning.
Stolen glances, phone calls, text messages, missing ring on Kunle's finger and she's certain the feelings are mutual, as they were seven years ago.
She's in for a big surprise. Will they get a second chance at love?

Why are you still here Mr Wellington?" I asked as I clutched my bathrobe to cover my body well. I don't want the scenario of my bathrobe falling off.
"You've not answered me, who's that guy?" He asked
"You mean Darlington?"
"Da... What?" He raised his brows
"You heard me, I work for you Mr Wellington, as your PA, you have no right to ask me about my private life, who I hang out with or talk to isn't your business! I don't poke my nose in your affairs so don't poke your nose in mine!" I shot at him in anger.
"Listen you have every right to be mad at me and I don't blame you, I just need you to listen to me" he said firmly
"Whatever you say won't change anything Mr Wellington"
"Great! I'm sick and tired of trying to reason with you, I'm not interested in explaining myself anymore, but I want you to know one thing, strong relationships are built on the foundation of trust, relationships without trust or forgiveness are bound to fail, just like ours" he said and stormed out
I slumped on my bed and different thoughts ran through my mind.
His statement echoed in my head
"strong relationships are built on the foundation of trust, relationships without trust or forgiveness are bound to fail, just like ours"
