Elliot dances to feel alive. She dances to feel close to her father who always wished she would dance. 
She knew her place when she was at home, she had her dance crew and they moved in rhythmic sync and she had her friends who knew how to make her feel wanted.
Her mum shipped them off to New York, 3,400 miles from her home in London. and now she knows nothing and dancing doesn't make her feel alive anymore. She's lost.
But as the school semester goes on, she changes-and not for the better.
