Destiny Parker is alone; in terms of specie, that is. When the lycanthropy infection started spreading world wide, humans didn't expect for their kind to be wiped out first - but it did. Excluding Destiny. Exhausting her options, the girl decided to pick her legs up and travel to discover a rumored haven containing more of humankind.
Caleb Hale is also alone, but by his own want and need. He defected from his clan in favour of a life lived alone, and he basked in his freedom, and longed to return human. And by coincidence, he came upon a confused one.
Fate sure was a strange and weird thing, but it was definitely much more messed up in messy knots when fate brought the two loners forever. But hidden beneath the myriad of disheveled ropes, there are neat and tightened knots. Follow as they unravel secrets to the lycanthropic disease, and tighten loose strands. Perhaps they will also tie one between them.

I could feel its presence from behind me. I tried walking faster, but I could feel it slowly pacing near me. I turned around, expecting a dark, hideous vampire standing behind me, but to my surprise, there was none. Every time I tried to stop, something clenched in my stomach, instinctual and feral. It compelled me to move. Sometimes it felt like it was pulling me in the opposite direction, back the way I came. That feeling I ignored - nothing short of demonic possession could convince me to go anywhere near that forest ever again.
