"Come on! We want to get a good seat!"

She smiled brightly. "Yeah, I'm coming--" She was entranced by the floating candlesticks and the night sky visible through the ceiling...at least that is what it looked like to her even though she was aware that it was enchanted. "Wow," she whispered to herself and she walked head on into something that wasn't there a moment prior and she looked directly in front of her and saw the loosely knotted tie in burgundy and gold over an adams apple and she looked up into the gray eyes that were looking down at her physical attributes with appreciation.
"Ooo! Cushy," he said in a low voice meant for only her to hear.

"Damn," she said in a low voice. "You certainly are cute."

The handsome boy raised his brow and looked her over as his mouth carried a lop-sided grin. He opened his mouth to speak, but she placed her finger over his lips.

"Too bad you're a jerk." She said, then she winked at him and skirted past him.

Sirius' face flushed pink and he craned his neck to watch her walk away, as well as the hem of her skirt swishing to and fro. She sat down on the bench and brought her legs up and swung them around and she turned her head slowly and looked him over slowly and smiled to herself as she turned her attention to her classmates.

Sirius raised his brow. "Challenge accepted."

"Come on, let's go." Book in hand, he began strolling through the now nearly empty corridor. With a growl, Thea followed him, her arms crossed over her chest. "Give it back." "No," he called back to her. "Please, Sirius!" He turned around, his eyebrows furrowed together. "Please?" he said. "Sirius? What's the matter with you today?" She looked down, avoiding his eyes. "Curse me!" he continued, edging closer to her. "Hex me! Go on, yell at me! Get your book back! You never let me push you around!" She stayed silent, her nose tingling and eyes becoming misty. "Talk to me," he said. She jumped, not realizing just how close he had gotten to her. She could feel his breath on her face, his body smelled clean, like soap. He placed his hand under her chin and lifted her head so she had to look at him. "Ditch class with me."

"I have a more personal question," she ignored his arrogance. Watching him had sparked a new interest that seemed to overpower any interest she had in their previous conversation. "Oh?" he seemed surprised but didn't allow it to affect his composure. "Go ahead then." "Why me?" "I beg your pardon?" Sirius seemed confused. Marlene felt embarrassed asking it but it wouldn't be the first time it had danced around in her head. Sirius was the type of guy that could have any girl he wanted. He was smart, funny, immeasurably handsome, and he bloody well knew it. Though he was bit egotistical at times, his hot headedness had seemed to settle down immensely from the boy she had known from fifth and sixth year. "Of all the girls you could have picked from, you chose me. I want to know why." Sirius was looking at her funny - it was not quite the reaction she had been expecting. "Of all the girls I could have picked from. What exactly is that supposed to mean? Isn't it obvious?" * It's Marlene's seventh year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, and she has graduated from blundering student to emotional train wreck. She knew that seventh year was going to be challenging, but she never imagined that N.E.W.T.s would be the least of her worries. The pressure of suppressing her emotions begins to take its toll, and it's only a matter of time before she breaks. She knows that she must tell Sirius how she truly feels if they ever stand a chance. As she struggles to win Sirius back, dark forces continue to loom over Hogwarts. Suddenly, Marlene finds herself immersed in something unexpected; threatening everything she knows and loves. Relationships blossom, alliances are formed, and adventures continue as Marlene and her friends enjoy their last moments before the war. They must rely on one another to fight the darkness, and together she and Sirius may just have a fighting chance after all. Highest Rank: #1 Blackinnon 03.13.21

Regulus x Marissa(OC)

23 parts Complete

Everyone saw me as perfect, I always had been my whole life. I was Regulus Black, I was raised to be perfect. I was everything that my parents wanted me to be. Pureblood, Slytherin, and the opposite of my brother. My brother was Sirius Black, known as the heart throb of Hogwarts. My parents hated him. He had been sorted into Gryffindor. He had been set free. I have always been jealous of him, he isn't stuck being controlled. He has forgotten about me, moved on completely. He once promised me that we would both escape together, but he broke it. How could I forgive him for that? He ran away over the summer and left me there. "Sorry." I was pulled out of my thoughts when I heard that oh so beautiful voice. "Sorry Marisa, I didn't mean to bump into you!" Some random kid who I didn't know exclaimed. "It was my fault, I should have been more careful." Marisa smiled. My heart skipped a beat at the sight of it. Marisa was a Hufflepuff, and she was one of the most popular girls in the school. She was in the year just above me. She was another one of Sirius' friends. She is also the girl I've had a crush on since third year, but I've never even spoken to her.
