Tragedy comes to us all at some time in our lives. Death is the one that we probably think about more than any other. However there are countless families who have had to endure tragic events where the consequences are far more long lasting. An industrial accident where someone is injured and suffers loss of function can have far more catastrophic and long lasting to their family than death.

Here I have the beginnings of a tale that looks at this directly form the viewpoint of the family and carers who have to manage this loss of function 24/7.
