"I am the best."

"Good, then you agree! So glad we spoke about this!" Ephraim perked up and turned to open the door. Avery leaned against it, eyes narrowing.

"That was a trick. I didn't agree."

"Avery... I need you to do this. Both as your friend and captain, please."

Avery's groan turned into a frustrated screech. She clasped her hands together.

"Fine, for you. But I will not enjoy it, and neither will he."

Ephraim swung the door open and waltzed out of it.

"That's okay! He was a stow away anyway." He said waving his hand dismissively. Some days Avery really just wanted to punch him. But she would contain herself, for now.

Queen Sahara of the SandWings paced anxiously in her opulent palace, the scorching heat of the desert sun beating down on the golden dunes outside. As the ruler of her mighty kingdom, she had grown accustomed to the solitude and tranquility of her desert oasis. However, on this particular day, her serene existence was about to be shattered. In the midst of her thoughts, Blaze, one of her trusted servants, burst into the grand hall, his wings flared with urgency. "Your Majesty! The SandWing army has captured a royal SeaWing!" he exclaimed, his voice filled with a mix of excitement and confusion. Sahara's black eyes narrowed as she studied Blaze's nervous expression. "Who is it?" she questioned, her voice laced with curiosity and concern. Though the SandWings were fierce and proud, they seldom ventured beyond their desert borders, let alone captured dragons from other tribes. Blaze struggled to catch her breath, her scales shimmering with perspiration. Baffled, Queen Sahara contemplated Blaze's words. SeaWings, known for their mastery over the ocean depths, were not creatures to be easily captured. Yet here was a seemingly important SeaWing caught in the clutches of her warriors. She needed to see this for herself. Without wasting a moment, Blaze nodded and darted towards the massive stronghold doors. Queen Sahara followed closely behind, her heart pounding with a mix of anticipation and apprehension. As they neared the stronghold, the rumbling echoes of distant voices filled the desert air. The stronghold, a formidable fortress made from hardened sandstone, loomed before them. With Blaze leading the way, Queen Sahara stepped into the dimly lit chamber, her eyes adjusting to the limited light. What she saw before her left her utterly stunned. In the center of the room, surrounded by her warriors, stood a magnificent SeaWing, his scales shimmering with iridescent blues and greens. Despite the evident signs of struggle, he appeared poised and noble, a true king.

Its only until she touches the wings that she realises that they are very much real. Within an instant, Mira's life is turned upside down. Knowing now that angels and demons are real and have been living amongst humans on earth for decades, she decides she needs to learn more about them and about the sight that she was gifted by this mysterious angel, Jenziel. With Lucifer's demons hunting her down, time is running out for Mira. If Lucifer get his hands on her, he will use her to spawn more advanced demons. Can the fallen keep her and the rest of the mortals safe? Excerpt: "So, are you planning on telling me what happened in the city with the demons, or do I have to tempt Kazier into a make out session to get some answers?". Azriel used his annoying angel gift and speed walked me to the bathtub. The back of my knees hit the tub with a thud and I stumbled back into a seating position on the edge of the tub. I was leaning back uncomfortably and gasped in disbelief, nearly about to fall into the tub and hurt myself and grabbed onto the only I could; the band of his pants. Azriel's eyes dropped to where my fingers were gripping onto and slowly, he snaked his vision up to me. I watched him for a few seconds until he seemed to have snapped out of his thoughts. "You will do no such thing, you hear me? You will not try to entice Kazier". I shivered when he spoke, his breath tickling my face. I bit my tongue from refraining to say anything to upset him further but failed miserably. "Maybe...maybe I don't even have to try...".

An OC story! (yes it's about cats again... even better yet, PIRATE CATS!) This tale follows socially awkward Ezekiel as he fights along to discover the truth from his Pirate uncle. It's all going well till he discovers a true power unknown to him. The vast ocean stretched out far and wide among the sandy bank of Hickory Bay. A small tom sat among the benches watching as the tide came in. "EZEKIEL! COMMON NOW!" A cat screeched from the docks where a large vessel bobbed against the salty water. The tom shook his head as he sat up walking through the cool sand as the moon began to set. He hated the feeling of sand between his claws but he carried on, leaping up onto the side of the large boat and clawing his way up to the deck of it. "Bout time flea bag. Now get ta' work swabbin the deck!" The same cat from before called his large Brown tabby fur rippling in annoyance. Ezekiel rolled his eyes as he grasped a mop in his maw and began dragging it over the old wooden floor boards of the boat.
