Caspian Mandala is a monster. At least that's what he's been told his entire life.

A hundered years after a nuclear holocaust, the genetic mutations caused by the radioactive fallout are still apparent in modern society. These mutations, more commonly known as Feroxi or bronze demons are hated and looked upon as less than human.

At the age of six, Caspian was taken to a holding facility for Feroxi like himself. The guards are cruel and the living conditions are horrible.

Caspian shares a small, cold cell with three other Feroxi, who share one source of light, a small barred window at the top of the damp concrete wall.

Every day Caspian is dragged against his will into an entirely white room, and restrained in a chair in the center. Every day more and more grotesque experiments are preformed on Caspian, and every day his body is given yet another scar.

He has no hope that his life could ever be anything more than this living hell.

One fateful day, however, the scientists preform another macabre experiment on him, injecting him with a poison that should've killed him.

Instead Caspian finds the strength to rip off his restraints and fight his way out of the compound.

Now wanted dead or alive, Caspian must blend in with humans. But as he finds himself in the wrong place at the worst time, he learns of a terrible plan of action.

He must find a way to free all the others like him before the tyrannical government decides to kill the Feroxi, once and for all, which would also cause catastrophic collateral damage that could very well indeed mean the death of the entire planet.

When my home was consumed by the Rot, a deadly infection that left me orphaned and adrift in a world consumed by despair, I sought out a new beginning. Haunted by the ghosts of my past, I fled to a place that was said to be a safe haven, Zenith. That was where I first encountered Caspian, a man obsessed with 'collecting' those who he performs terrifying experiments on, trying to build an army of literal man-made automatons to take over the whole continent of Cogovia. Our first interaction caused a power within me I never knew I possessed to be unleashed, a cataclysmic force that both terrified and intrigued me. This newfound power drew the attention of Jasper Thorne, a reclusive inventor who resides in the hidden enclave of Aethelhum. Drawn into Jasper's enigmatic world of clockwork creations and forbidden secrets, I found myself trapped in a conflict I never imagined. Our initial encounters were marked by bitter clashes - his arrogance clashing with my defiance. Yet, as the shadow of Caspian's ambition loomed larger, we found ourselves an unlikely alliance. Together, we must learn to harness my burgeoning power and confront the psychopath who threatens to engulf Aethelhum and me in shadows. But in the face of impending doom, I realize that I must be the one to not only protect my new home and the enigmatic man who has become both my enemy and the man I was slowly falling in love with, but I also needed to protect the fragile hope of our future that has begun to bloom within my own shattered heart. As they say, having power comes with a cost, and that cost just might be my very life.

In a world where darkness reigns and monsters rule, humanity's survival depends on those with power. A decade ago, the Earth fell to horrific creatures-beasts that tore apart cities and destroyed what remained of civilization. In the aftermath, society fractured into four groups, each shaped by its beliefs and the supernatural abilities that arose in response to the terror. Angels heal the wounded but at the cost of their vitality. Demons wage war on the monsters, fueled by their thirst for human blood. Rare and feared devils wield blood magic that allows them to control the essence of life itself, but they must feast on monster blood to regain their strength. And then there are the God-powered-a mysterious few who possess elemental abilities that could hold the key to ending the chaos but are believed to be little more than a myth. Emery, a quiet college student, lives in the shadows of this broken world. Though she possesses the powers of a Devil, she keeps her identity hidden, unwilling to draw attention. Her days are spent in isolation, away from the chaos, with only her books and a few trusted friends to keep her company. But when whispers of a possible God-powered emerge, Emery is thrust into a deadly race. If she can find them, the union of the Devil and God could be the world's only chance at survival. But trust is scarce, and betrayal lurks in every corner. Demons are unpredictable, Angels are slowly losing their strength, and the Devils grow increasingly detached from humanity, fueled by the monster blood they consume. As the hunt for the last hope intensifies, Emery must navigate a world of shifting allegiances, hidden agendas, and monsters that are not always what they seem. In this dystopian future, where fear and power rule, Emery will have to decide if saving the world is worth the cost of her humanity.

Y/N Y/LN has been part of the Avengers since the start, she's battled against Loki, Ultron and Hydra. Now the team is her family and everybody loves her. One day the whole team disappears for a mission, half of them come back the next day, two weeks later the rest of the team, minus one. No one wants to tell her what happened. Steve Rogers, her best friend, comes back three whole months later, with a new guy: Steve's childhood best friend Bucky. That's when she finds out that her family has been in a Civil War, all because of Bucky. Tony still can't see past the Winter Soldier, but Y/N can't help but see the broken man full of pain and empty of memories. - For the sake of my own sanity in this story Infinity War and Endgame do not happen. Also Pietro didn't die, Asgard did not get blown up and Loki is an Avenger. Scott also is an Avenger so let's pretend Cassie and her mother and the Pym family all live in New York :) - "You shouldn't be here..." he says quietly. He's still avoiding your question, so instead you ask "Why not?" "I could hurt you..." he says in a small, sad voice that breaks your heart. "Would you hurt me?" you ask. He frowns and almost immediately says "of course not" still very quietly. You give him a reassuring smile and say "Then I'm not worried." he finally looks up at you and gives you a small smile. - This was my first story so I'm sorry if the writing is not too good, I'll get better I promise. Also, English is my third language but I try my best, if you find mistakes feel free to point them out. - #38 in avengersfanfiction 01/08/2024 - I do not own any characters except for Y/N and any other character of my creation, all the rights belong to Marvel.

Hope you enjoy reading, give me any and all feedback The story will randomly transition between reader POV and (Y/N) POV at times. It's subtle, so pay attention. [Sometimes scenes will say "We did (something) and other times [You did (something). It's all the same. Just different POVs Melee killing is violent and gory on purpose. None of the art shown belongs to me. Inspired from various video games. Melee Combat directly based on Decaying Winter Slightly inspired by Rogue Lineage. Gender-neutral reader.

May 25, 2012. 35H-GQ. That was her name. A name for the girl who was left on the streets by her mother at the age of 2. A name for the girl who was imprisoned, tortured, and abused by none other than HYDRA. They saw her as a chance, an opportunity to test their dangerous, life-threatening experiments. It took 6 years for their experiments to finally snap and harm the innocent child. 35H-GQ turned deaf and it was entirely their fault. A few years later, something extraordinary happened. At the age of 11, 35H-GQ finally escaped HYDRA. It was a dark, gloomy night when it happened. The escape she'd been planning for years. She had finally........Hold on. How did she escape again? She couldn't remember. She idly wondered how she could have forgotten that plan. She ran, ran, and ran until her legs gave out and she could no longer breathe. As she sat on the floor panting, she saw a tiny ray of light flickering from beyond the horizon. She numbly walked towards the light and found herself in a city. 35H-GQ was awed. She gawked at every little detail, every dirty alley, and every tiny shop, just everything. She was amazed at how bright the lights were, at how the tall the skyscrapers reached to the clouds and beyond. As she gaped at New York City, looking like a lost puppy, she got lost in her thoughts. She couldn't believe it. After 9 years of imprisonment, she was finally free. Warning: This story is PG15. Strong langue included Disclaimer: I don't own Marvel, the characters, or some of the plot.
