92 other kids are my family. I have these memories, of them. Of all my friends and what they look like, and all the things they've ever said. There are memories of who I shared shirts with, and what videos we watched. There are memories I want them to have, too. These are memories for a marching band.
Formerly ALL THE PEOPLE THAT I SEE. All the people I see, I will never understand. A collection of non-fiction poetry about scenes in the lives of people closest to me. I will always remember. They won't.

I'm Fine. Just Broken. (Major Editing)
I honestly didn't realize how broken I was. I just figured that if I shut all my feelings out that they would go away. They didn't. They came back strong as ever. And I did the worst thing that I could do. I let my feelings get the best of me. My daddy told me to never let anyone walk over me. And yet that is exactly what everybody does. It's like he knew that this was gonna happen like he wanted me to be prepared. Too bad I didn't listen. And now no one's here to help me. And then the new kid comes along. Jake Johnson. He caught my eye the first time I saw him. I can look at him and tell that he had a story. And I wanted to know it. He helped me in a way that I thought nobody else could. --Re-written-- When I was 8 we were playing hide and seek in the little park surrounded by bush down the street from my house. It was a large group of us. It was always fun down at the park, since our parents never really came and checked on us. Being twins, Taylor and myself had a bigger amount of freedom then the other kids in our grade, so all the parents trusted at if the Norm Twins were going to be somewhere, their kids would be safe, even though we were young. And that was always true. This particular time at the park we were playing hide and seek. It was one of our favorite games to play. Taylor, Rachel and Connor always had the best hiding spots. I loved counting. The suspense. So I was counting. We counted to 90 so everyone could get the optimal spots in the park. The deal was that we never went too far into the bush. The boulder was our guide. I counted to 90, like normal, and then started looking. There were always specific spots that people hid in, so they were my first points to check. Oddly, no one was in any of them. But to my 8 year old self that made the whole thing better. I started looking hard. But didn't find anyone. I started to call out, starting to get worried.
