Home is where the family is, wherever it may be. Some in a mansion, others in a flat, but for fifteen-year-old Avy, it's the farm. Or at least she thinks it is. With no father and her mother in prison, Avy is raised by her older sister, Autumn on their much-loved family farm. But when her sister falls in love and marries a city boy, Avy takes a life-changing twist, being thrown into a world of technology, buildings, and not-so-welcoming class mates. Will Avy finally grow to love life as a city girl, or will she plunge into a pool of darkness and regret of ever leaving her precious farm behind? Sometimes home isn't always where you think it is. But for Avy, nothing will change her mind about the love she holds for her old home. Well ... Nothing except being taken away from her family, that is.
