Somewhere between his childhood fancies and the war brewing beneath the surface of society, Linus lost himself. He fears the future, as he should, and trusts no one -- as, being a pirate, he once again is best to do. But what happens when society cracks? When everyone becomes the madman, leaving Linus's fleet of pirates and a handful of militants to be the last of the sane?

Fear is a powerful tool; religion is a loud voice. Yet, nothing is ever so black and white -- Linus knows this. He is determined to unveil the mysterious force everyone bows down to. What does he have to lose other than his life?

In the early frontier of space colonization, Chez LaFleur is a dedicated engineer at WAT -- an aerospace technology company meeting the needs of clients operating in space. When his best friend and WAT's visionary owner, Mac Whitter, requests his expertise on a classified project aboard WAT's state-of- the-art space station, Chez accepts. While discovering the not-so-glamourous realities of life on the colonies, tensions mount between various factions inside and outside the company, leading to a suspicious explosion onboard the station-- a tragic event that would result in Mac Whitter's death. Uncovering a conspiracy linking WAT to the dangerous colony terrorist group in conflict with the CN, Earth's emissary pseudo- government entrusted to maintain law in space, Chez seeks retribution on both the terrorists and CN commandant. Fueled by rage and armed with his engineering knowledge, Chez transforms into Captain Chez Deric--a feared pirate wielding cutting- edge technology. But as his rampage escalates, his moral compass disintegrates, and his war leaves strongholds in ruins, innocents trafficked, and armies in chaos. When an unlikely betrayal is revealed, Chez discovers a chilling truth. With his crusade threatening to consume what's left of his humanity, Chez must decide whether to confront the monster he's become or be lured by a darkness that has always been waiting for him. In this dark tale of betrayal and survival, follow Chez LaFleur's tragic rise and fall as he evolves from WAT's brightest engineer to its most feared adversary--a haunting reminder of what's lost when vengeance consumes the soul.

Humanity has an inherent tendency toward self-destruction. Drowning in hate and hedonism, the worlds of humanity have not seen a true peace since the end of the Hydrian War. It has been decades since humanity saw any true technological advancement. Ruled by a decaying republic, for most of humanity, absolute loyalty and real morality no longer exist. This is the declining state of the Ariean Solar Year 4249. Sickened by the state of the worlds, Charleston Reeter knows he and the rest of humanity were meant for something better. With the aid of a powerful AI harboring her own intentions, Reeter's New Era Movement will accept only perfection. People believe he will lead them to a future that is nothing less than heaven. Admiral Gives has seen hell. To him, it's any day he's forced to work with reporters or politicians. There is nothing worse for one of the most hated members of the human race. It is not his business if the worlds of humanity want to tear themselves apart, provided they leave his ship alone. But humanity came to hate him for a reason: given the chance to save the worlds, Admiral Gives refused. The rest of the human race never forgave him for it. It rendered him and his haunted battleship the embodiment of every evil Reeter has set out to exterminate. Welcome to the dark side of human nature. Welcome aboard the Battleship Singularity. ...... Guts, gore and cursing galore, Blood Impulse explores a galaxy where morality has disappeared. Inspired by Battlestar, Firefly and Star Trek, if you miss the glory days of TV space opera, this all-original work is for you. Step aboard if you dare, and don't forget to leave a vote!
