Book two of the Matriarch Chronicles explores the issue of sexism and the complexity of human relationships further in an epic tale of romance and courage.
In the land of Galaenia, women are the dominant gender. Men live under matriarchy. Such tyranny has spawned a large group of freedom fighters, battling for their masculine right to rule over their women.
With valuable information regarding the ruthless male raiders who have destroyed her home and murdered those she loved, including her young daughter, Raegna is determined to warn the Queen of Galaenia of the raider's whereabouts. Upon reaching the Capitol city, Raegna and her husband, Bai, find their bond in the will to avenge their daughter's death. When faced against their enemy, Raegna and Bai must battle side by side in order to fulfill their desire for revenge and survive.
