The noise of the knife being sharpened alerted him and his head jerked up suddenly.
"Where'd you get that?" He enquired.
"Oh nowhere....literally." It continued to smirk at him.
He stood up and started to approach it slowly as if at any moment it might get out.
"Oh? What's this?" It asked with a smile on its face.
"Why the scepticism, don't you trust your own child?" It was mocking him.
He smirked.
"Isn't it clear? You should know by now, Ace I am, after all your father."
